Our own code, our own platform
The entire metsa platform (API, dashboard, widgets and membership system) is developed and maintained by us, built on open standards and well-proven building blocks. The business logic, the security model and the integrations are our own.
That means we're not dependent on an external vendor's roadmap, pricing or sudden shutdown, so we can respond quickly to our customers' actual needs.
Operations that scale
Every part of the platform runs in containers, which means our code runs isolated and consistently, no matter where it's deployed. That makes it possible to scale up when the registration season peaks, roll out updates continuously without downtime, and quickly restore operations if something goes wrong.
Data stays in the EU
The production environment runs in Finland, with continuous backups to Germany. Data about federations, clubs and members never leaves the EU, fully in line with GDPR.
Payments are handled by Stripe
Membership fees, registration fees and other payments are handled through the Stripe payment platform, one of the world's most widely used and security-certified payment platforms. Card details are never stored by metsa.app, and clubs and federations receive payments directly and securely, backed by Stripe's extensive experience with fraud prevention and compliance.
The bottom line
The result is a platform built to last, solidly coded, operated responsibly within the EU, and with payments handled in a trusted, well-established framework. That's the technical foundation we believe both larger and smaller sports federations and clubs deserve.
